Sustainability Cloud” has been redefined as an integrated SX platform ‘Sustainability ERP’.

■Background of the redefinition

　Since its establishment in 2015, MHI has focused on electric power, which accounts for approximately 42% of energy-related CO2 emissions, with the aim of promoting decarbonization. Through the development and provision of ENERGY X, a cloud system capable of procuring and supplying CO2-free electricity, etc., the predecessor of “boost Energy,” we have been promoting the acceleration of liberalization and decentralization of the energy industry, which is still under centralized control of large-scale thermal power sources.
 

　Since then, in response to global trends and customer needs, in addition to “boost Energy,” we have developed “boost GX,” which accelerates decarbonization management by calculating and reducing CO2 emissions, “boost Supplier,” which visualizes CO2 reductions in the supply chain, and “boos ES,” which manages ESG In each module, we have deepened and expanded the three processes of “visualization,” “diagnostics,” and “reduction and improvement. Customers have implemented each module individually in accordance with their own sustainability areas and steps, and the system is now in use at 180,000 sites in 80 countries worldwide.

　In response to global sustainability trends and customer needs, we have redefined the “boost Sustainability Cloud” as a foundation for accelerating sustainability management, and instead of providing it on a module-by-module basis, we now offer it as a “Sustainability ERP” for integrated management of all sustainability-related data. We have decided to provide the “boost Sustainability Cloud” as a “Sustainability ERP” that manages all sustainability data in an integrated manner, instead of providing it in modules. In line with this change, we plan to upgrade “boost Sustainability Cloud,” our sustainability ERP, with enhanced functions to make it a platform that supports sustainability management more broadly, flexibly, and seamlessly in the near future.
